Sale date inspections are the same as other property inspections but they must be performed on a specific date or before a specified date printed on the inspection request form - the sale date - hence, "sale date inspection." The determining factor that determines when the inspection must be done is the operating procedures of the company sending you the sale date inspection request.

The field rep is normally directed to attempt direct contact with any occupants and get the names of all occupants of the property. The results of this sale date inspection is used to arrange eviction of the named occupants, if the property is occupied, or proceed with conveyance of the property if vacant.

Pictures normally required for sale date inspections are:

• front of the property
• address of the propery
• personal property on the property
• debris at the property
• damage to the property

Sale date inspections normally warrant expedited handling therefore your instructions may indicate the results are to be called in to a certain phone number, individual, or extension or you will be requested to give the inspection results priority on your upload list.
